Dr. Daniel Lee, B.Sc.(Hon), D.D.S., FAGD

Dr. Daniel Lee, graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 1998, with High Distinction.  Previously, he attended U of T in a specialist bachelors degree in Molecular Genetics and Molecular Biology.  He is the Canadian Dental Association President's Award winner, given to one student in the graduating class for overall achievement at U of T. He was also specially selected to the Honor Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

Dr. Daniel is a member in various organizations including the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the George Hare Endodontic Study Club, the American Academy of General Dentistry, the Ontario and Canadian Dental Associations. Dr. Lee is a graduate of the 2-yr. comprehensive Orthodontic 'Canadian Straight Wire and Functional Orthopaedics' course. He also received extensive surgical implant training from Zimmer Dental.  He is also a preferred provider for Invisalign clear aligners orthodontics.

Dr. Lee has a great interest in the school of dentistry. With new procedures and materials always coming out, he believes that only with furthering education, can dentists provide the best for their patients.  Dr. Daniel often completes the required education for a full 3-year cycle in less than one year.  Recently, in 2014, Dr. Lee successfully completed the education credits and the written examination to become a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.

The profession of dentistry has been a joy and passion for Dr. Daniel.  Right from day-one after graduation, Dr. Lee has been busy in full-time practice.  After several years, he decided to begin some charity work.  Dr. Lee joined an organization called Health Outreach.  This registered Canadian Charity has set missions for those very needy children in Guatemala.  Not just extracting teeth, but also doing more comprehensive fillings and root canals, to save adult teeth for these growing children.  He and the charity hope that by saving important adult teeth, especially the front teeth, this will give the children self-esteem and confidence to hopefully find ways to better their lives.

Daniel, his wife, Kola, and three children (Thomas, Theresa, Cecilia)  reside nearby in Oakville, as part of the community of Joshua's Creek, which the dental clinic serves. Music (piano/organ) is his hobby, as it 'provides better dexterity, and concentration' for all the dental procedures.  Dr. Daniel also is Music Co-ordinator at the local church, Mary, Mother of God Catholic Parish.  He leads the Choral Choir each weekend for Mass.  Dr. Lee is a graduate of St. Michael's Choir School, where he graduated with the Governor General's Award (Academics).
